This Guinevere is the worst Gwen I´ve ever read... and merging Irish myth with Welsh and new-age goddesses didn´t help. My long-lasting fascination with Quo Vadis began with the movie, not the book, and I've drawn characters from animated series till I was more or less seventeen. But later on, I did experiece a certain restraint from drawing real actors in their role, and - coming to the matter at hand - I would never become an ASOIAF fan because of the TV series.

I still experience a fascination with other people's drawings, though - for example Jane Burden Morris. With this difference: I can't ink on a lightbox. I get distracted by the pencil lines and lose sight of the whole. So when I use a lightbox, I pencil a second time, which is hopelessly time-consuming. I have been trying to eliminate the lightbox part, though I guess I'll still be using it for complex scenes.

My methods are exceedingly unprofessional and I know it. But I have to develop a method that feels as comfortable and pleasant as possible, because I'm only going to be able to make it if this project is fun and doesn't feel like a chore. Drawing, then transferring and inking? Felt like a chore. I've tried it.

Everyone is cordially invited to say "I told you so!" if it all goes wrong ;). Lightboxes are easy to make out of a wide low box, some plexiglass plastic and a few bright lights inside it. I used to use this method for all my watercolors back in the day when I did watercolor.
